SYNOPSIS
In Tehran’s underground art scene, two young women build a blissful world of freedom and sisterhood. But when their creative circle is exposed, they must fight to save each other.
At the heart of THE FRIEND’S HOUSE IS HERE is an intimate portrait of friendship, artistic expression and community in contemporary Iran. As life imitates art and vice versa, the underground theater becomes a microcosm of a changing society, where maintaining artistic dignity becomes an act of resistance.
